This is the registration process for Primary 1 (P1) Registration 2026, which secures a place for your child in a mainstream / Singapore MOE primary school for the 2027 academic year. The exercise is conducted online for Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR) between June and August, across five phases with specific eligibility criteria.
What is P1 Registration?
Primary 1 registration is the process of enrolling your child into a mainstream primary school in Singapore for the following academic year.
For Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR), the registration exercise is conducted online between June and August. The process is divided into five phases: Phase 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2C Supplementary. P1 registration for international students follows a different timeline.
Each phase has its own eligibility criteria and registration period. Parents must register their child in the phase that matches their eligibility.
How to Register
Log in to the P1 Registration Portal (https://p1.placement.moe.gov.sg/) with your Singpass during your child’s eligible phase. Only one parent needs to complete the registration, but you must declare in the portal that consent has been obtained from the other parent.

If your registration is unsuccessful in Phase 2C Supplementary, your child will be posted to a school with available vacancy.
Documents
You do not need to submit any documents unless you are registering through the online form in the P1 Registration Portal. If you use the online form, you must provide your child’s birth certificate or other required documents. Schools may contact you if they need clarification or additional paperwork.
